I was just watching the movie 300 the other day and I noticed there's a scene in there that is strikingly similar to a scene in AOTC.

The scene in AOTC I'm referring to is when Jango Fett takes down the charging reek (the big, four-legged monster with large horns) with a single shot. In 300, the rhinoceros is unleashed on the Spartans and one of the Spartans throws a single spear to kill the beast. In both scenes, both the reek and the rhino butts someone on their side (the reek butts a battle droid; the rhino butts a Persian), and the beast comes sliding nearly to the feet of its killer. The set-up of the shots are nearly identical.

Just something I noticed.

Never thought of that. But you’re right; the scenes are quite similar. But all fiction is the noble art of borrowing – at least to some extent. wink.gif

Does anyone else remember that quote...

"There are only nine story... retold in difference ways..."

Or something like that. thinking.gif

If I remember correctly, Industrial Light And Magic did the visual art and special effects for both AOTC and 300. It wouldn't surprise me if their trademark shows up in similar films.

Hey you're right. They do look pretty much like each other. The only difference is that Jango jumps out of the way

True ILM does both, but haha good to notice these small yet familiar scenes. Thanks for bringing it to our attention here on BH! smilehuge.gif
