Cool photo Antha! msn_yes.gif It really dows look like it's from an old horror movie. laugh.gif Sometimes the best pictures happen "by accident", like the screen in front of the window. wink.gif

Brent, what does your river view look like in day time?

Nice pictures Limpy! Did you use a digital camera for those?

Not sure if this qualifies as art or not... *L* I was in the mood for arts and crafts today, doing something with my hands, so I picked apart a bunch of necklaces I never use and made a new one. This is the result:

(It's one of those necklaces you tie and use kind of like a scarf.)
It'll go nicely with satin shirts as well as jeans I think. satisfied.gif

Here are some photos that I really think turned out well:

They were taken at King's Landing, a historical settlement. It is about an hour away from our home and I was there with one of our son's on a school field trip.

No, thanks. Been there, done that, and deja vu just isn't what it used to be.

Here are a couple of the historical homes that are there:

This settlement is one of my fave places to go visit. It's like stepping back in time.

(sorry for the double post)

Great pictures Padme, your area of the world is very scenic! The houses remind me of Fort Steele in British Columbia. I like visiting places like that with historical buildings preserved just the way they were.

Hehehe, cool! I like the way you've colored the picture with textures. Very creative. smilehuge.gif

I took this picture this morning as I walked out on the ice covered lake in front of my house:

The mist was thick this morning and was just clearing up when I took this. The little red house, which looks kind of like a fishing shanty, is actually a one-room hotel. The red cabin is just the entryway. The bedroom is under water (or under the ice, as it is now). smile.gif

"It is known that there are infinite number of worlds, simply because there is infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so average population of all planets in Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that population of whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely products of deranged imagination."
