That would be Latin. "Servus" (lat.) => lit: (I am you) servant

Taiwaness:

Formal greeting:
你好 (hello) pronounced: ni huw

Informal greeting:
hi

In the morning: 早安 pronounced: tsuw ane
Afternoon: 午安 pronounced: o ane
Evening: 晚安 pronounced: oan ane

Saying Goodbye:
再見(goodbye) pronounced: tsi tsain
明天見 (see you tomorrow) pronounced: min ten tsain
永別了 (farewell) pronounced: uon bay le

* the pronounceation isn't really right. because they are hard to pronounce in the first place. And some of the sound doesn't belong to English.

Finnish:

Hyv Piv: formal greeting translated: Good Day

Piv: slightly less formal shortened from Hyv Piv translated: Good Day

Moi: unformal, mostly used with friends, translated: Hi

Kuis hurisee?: slang,Very unformal only used amongst friends, translated: How's it hanging?

Moro:, slang, unformal, simply translated to: Morning

I do not know alot of slang because Finnisch is my second native language. sad.gif

Swedish:

God Dag: Slightly formal regular greeting translated to: good day

God Morgon: Same as above only good morning, only used in the morning

Heh, you all knew this was coming. evil.gif Erm, if anyone is offended by language (though mild) sorry. sad.gif

Hello - G'day

Friend - Mate (Actually, we use it on anyone. eyeball.gif If we're being nasty it's like 'You're a bloody drongo, mate.' doesn't matter really who we're talking to.)

How are you? - How the bloody hell are ya?

Idiot - Drongo

What do you want? - Whaddyawant?

That's pretty much it. smile.gif We also use 'Whaddya know?' and the usual response is 'Not bloody much, mate.' laugh.gif
