My only problem is when I tend to hold doors open for people (not just women) they're just a tad too far away, forcing them to break into a little awkward jog.

I'm a social media hermit - the only sites I actively use are Twitter and Tumblr and even then they're more both for entertainment than they are keeping in touch with people. It's just how I am, but I'll always hold this place dear because it's the first forum I was ever really a part of. The fact that this is the 8th year of coming here makes me feel very nostalgic.

BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS.

Suddenly remembered this place when I was at work the other night and all the nostalgia cut into me with the weight of a feather. Sad to see the desolation but that's the nature of the beast!

Maybe even longer! I don't know, haha. And yeah, I've filled out a bit, put weight on where it needs to be. At least I don't look like a kid anymore.

I've never really thought about it. I post it on a forum I moderate too, so it isn't like it's the only place I keep it. I don't consider it good enough to steal anyway. Should I add a disclaimer on my blog or something? confusedsmall.gif

Erm, well, let's see. I don't know where to start.

I've been focusing a lot on my writing. I mostly write dark pieces, and they're kept on my blog. I also make both noise and ambient music under different names so I don't confuse myself. I do DJ sets in pubs too, but that's just a filler hobby I suppose. I'm a senior healthcare assistant, have been for a year, and I start my mental health nursing diploma on January the 4th.

All go!

Here I am now.

Weirdest thing for me? C3PO headless. Was quite a "woah" moment back in the day.

I'll just go with these two:

Two & A Half Men:
A melodic offering, and immensely catchy. Not creepy at all, until you realise it's just an accapella tune, with the words "men men men men manly men, ooh ooh ooooh" being cooed over and over again.

The Simpsons:
Truly iconic and instantly recognizable, it's a staple in homes everywhere. You hum it when you're bored and you might sing along to it while it's coming on. Smooth jazz and upbeat means instant family favourite.

Indeed!

By the way, Skid, I'm in Blackpool this weekend. You free Friday late afternoon/evening for a beer?

Totally not weird at all.

Oh my God! What sort of torture have I been inflicting on you all? Well, I'll post this variation and remove it for good.

Ignore the banner at the bottom, haha, it's used on another forum I frequent.

But yes, it's hence gone. Sorry MR, I'm not punishing her further! wink.gif

Haha, Tyrena said the same thing. Why not embrace the smooth, inviting allure of Burt Reynolds?

It's the Burt Reynolds approach. You'll grow to love it. I wish I could get something similar made out of my own body, that would scare you, haha.

It's the tried and tested formula - after all, if it isn't broke why fix it waste millions of dollars producing a comic book that isn't guaranteed to sell? I know I'd go down that route if I was making graphic novels. It's always entertaining to read about heroes that are more man/woman than anything. Marvel seem to take great pride in showing us a hero's life is far from perfect, and they have struggles just like us.

Well spotted Paul.

Glad you're on the mend, I hear debt is a horrible hole to fall into. So easy too in this current climate. Good to see you beating it.

QUOTE (Lukes secret brother @ Feb 27 2010, 01:09 AM) *
Oh Craig you look just like when i last saw you!! satisfied.gif that was about a year and a half ago... laugh.gif

Year and a half? It was much longer than that wasn't it? I haven't seen Simon for the best part of 7 months. Shame really, he's moved down south to go to a drama college there.

I'm fine with private jokes. Chances are, no-one will know what I'm talking about or what I'm even wearing when I'm out and about, so I don't see any problems there. msn_yes.gif

What's even more odd though, I don't seem to have it:

Might just be my browser (Opera 10, y'all) but I just wanted to offer a comparison.

OLD PEOPLE.

Well, not old old. Just old as in... well, nevermind.

Good to see Tone and Clave still kicking it in BH, even if their visits may be temporary. Stick around, let's try and get hold of as many old members as we can and have a reunion.
