Well I just watched the outsiders so I had this idea. It's based in the 1950s where
Greasers or hoods- poor people of the town usually wore leather jackets jeans and slicked the hair back with pomade or vassine. East side. And
Soc's- the richer kids who usually wore kakai shorts had short hair, they had the nice girls and the nice cars. West side.
You can only have two characters, One soc or one Greaser unless you kill one.

Name- Dallas Shepard or Dally.( My friends called me that before I read the book.)

Appearance- 5'6, long brown hair, turned black from the pomade. Has a good build and usually wears a pair of blue jeans and a worn out thin leather jacket.
Personalty- He's very protective over people in his gang. He doesn't care to much of what you do to him but you even insult one of his friends he'll pull his Italian stiletto on you. He can be funny and serious depending on his mood.
History- His parents are abusive of each other and him. He is a natural leader which commonly gets him into fights with those who disagree. He is smart but refuses to acknowledge it. He is famous for the way he uses his Italian Stiletto which his grandfather gave to him. He usaully hits on the soc's girls and gets rejected almost always.

Dallas walked out into the streets. It was chilly. He headed towards the hang out which was a alley way between these two huge buildings.

((I did? I guess you're right. Oh well.))

( Yeah but whatever)

Jerry sat quietly on the couch, listening to his brothers argue. Usually he would of interviened by now, but he realized this time he would have to let them talk it out. He shook his head, and stood up. Neither of them glanced his way. He left the house, which was small, only one floor and two bedrooms, and began to walk down the street. It was a calm Autumn day. He breathed in the fresh air.
"Hey, Jery!" A truck pulled up next to him. Two boys were sitting in the front. A girl and two other boys were sitting in the luggage campartment. The girl was the one that had shouted his name. "Hop in!" He got into the back of the truck with them. The girls name was Esther, Esy for short. The two boy's name's were Johny and Micheal(Mich). Sitting in the front were Andy and Conner. They were all friends. Johny and Mich were brothers. They lived a block dowb the road with their parents. Andy and Conner were brothers also, and the only parent they had left was thier mom. Esy was an only child, living with both her parents.
"Where's Derrick and Matt?" Andy asked.
"In the house, arguing like usual." Jerry replied.
"We're going to the movies." Esy informed him. "You wanna go?"
"Sure. Are there even any good ones?" They drove down the road, heading to the theater.

Dallas turned his head, Rider and August were walking down the street. Rider was one of that if he really wanted to could be a soc but was just naturally bad. August had no choice he only had 2 pairs of pants and 3 shirts, we usaully called him Augy. Then a truck came by with a bunch of Dallas' friends in the back. Rider, Augy, and Dallas took off running right next to the truck. Dallas banged on the door.
" Where ya headin'" Dallas said with a big smile. Augy didn't understand how Dallas and Rider could keep this pace.

"Oh great! look who showed up." Esy laughed when she saw Dallas and his two friends. "Hey Andy! Stop the truck!" The truck lurched to a halt. "We're going to the movies."

( Wonder what will happen at the movies, maybe two soc girls will get picked on by Dally)

" Aww" Dallas said." that hurts Esy." He reached in his pocket. He pulled out 32 cents, he hopped onto the back fender of the truck. Rider pulled out some money to make sure they could have enough to get into the place.
" Sorry guys but I 'm not going" said Augy.
" Comeon " Dallas said mockingly.
" Yah man we'll pay fer ya" said Rider.
" Naw gotta watch my little brother" said Augy.
" Alright" said Dallas." So Andy whast do ya think about you giving two of your best pals a ride?"

"I don't know. I'm thinking not." Andy laughed. "Of course. Get in."

" Thanks" Dallas said." Doesn't matter I wouldn't of gotten out any way" Dallas said jokilying.
" See ya" said Augy while getting out of the street and onto the sidewalk.
" Come we'll hide ya" Dallas said,
" Let him go" said Rider.
" So" Dallas said putting one hand on Esy's shoulder and one hand on Jerry's." What's the movie about"
He smiled.

"Don't ask me." Jerry replied. "This was their idea."
Esy shrugged.
"Don't know. I was just wanting something to do, so I suggested the idea. Any movie you want to see, Dallas?"

" Well assuming that you know we've seen every single kind of beach movie and there are ....girls present that rules out two subjects." Dallas thought for a moment." Maybe something like.........."
He couldn't think of anything that didn't go in those subjects.

So quick story: everyone in my class wanted to read The Outsiders. I wondered what book they were talking about, needless to say in that particular class our teacher said no. A year went by and another teacher said we would read it. Okay I said to myself, let's see what everyone loves about this book. Well the guys in my class that one year were right, I love this book and it's great!! The movie, not so much.

Anyway looks like a cool story line so far, so I'll participate. Besides half of my characters in my stories are rough. Is it okay if I have two?

Personality-very rough and doesn't care what others think of him, is close to his friends and defends them all the time, one has to earn his trust, is distrustful of Soc, cops, and anyone that he doesn't know, doesn't mind fighting even if it's just for the heck of it, and he has a record.
History-his father hates him and tells him this all the time and while his mother is nice, she is afraid to stand up to her husband so she goes along with what he says. At age 14, Chris left home and lived on the streets cause he didn't want to be beaten up by his dad although they did have a major fight that only a few close friends know about. He always carries a switch blade in his back pocket.

Appearance-very pretty, long blonde/brown hair with emerald eyes. Dresses appropriately even though her friends don't and kid her for it.
Personality-very sweet, but can be rough if need be, will always go talk to the rough guys and hang out with them. If they get put away for awhile, she'll bring them some goodies to eat (like cookies, etc). Can be a friend to all, but is wary of new people in the town.
History-has adoptive parents, but doesn't tell anyone about that unless someone notices, her parents are a social worker and a police officer (she doesn't tell anyone about that either); since she was abused as a young girl, she learned to take karate and knows how to defend herself. The only way she knows Chris is by going to the same school as he did. Goes to night college classes.

It was dark and Chris was heading somewhere, anywhere but home. He hadn't been there since he hit his teens and doubted he was missed. He could actually care less, he had a bandage on his upper arm from dealing with a knife fight that he had earlier in the day.

He was walking pass the movie theater when he saw a truck coming his way. He turned around and squinted as the lights were pretty bright, but he kept on walking. His fingers lightly touched his switch blade as he saw people kissing under the moonlight on the opposite side of the street.

Find a room he thought as he kept on moving although he could care less about two people smooching.

((Cool charecters. I would write, but I don't have any ideas. sorry.))

" HEY BUDDY" Dallas shouted,he hopped out of the car as it slowed and ran up to the man. He smiled, he was just saying hello to one of his fello greasers

Chris turned towards the voice and said, "Yo man waz up?" He hadn't seen Dallis in some time and was happy to see that the other guy was okay. He saw the truck was slowing down and wondered where they were going for a second.

"Where you headed?" he asked as he folded his arms across his chest.
