(Okay Guys this is a story I am writing and will put a section every 3 days or so. Leave a suggestion or comment I'm all for constructive criticism.)

Thirteen has always been considered an unlucky number. As the last shuttle took off it celebrated it's 'thirteenth' year of space voyages. It was headed towards to nice vacation planet named Kennedy. But when a horrible event happens nine children find there selves on the opposite side of the planet...millions of miles from any human activity...any hope.

Dallas sat still on the bench. The other kids ran around the pool. Jumped and chased each other. He had fun for the first month or two. But slowly it began to be boring. The cruise to Kennedy was six months long. It was only a mere hour until they were to land on the "resort" and do the same exact thing for a month then return. The school on board made him want to hurl he either was so bored because it was to simple or so bored because he was lost beyond belief. He was considered a " genius " in everything but math...which was he was then considered 4th grade level. Slowly as the clock counted down he headed to the classroom. There weren't many kids. Only nine including him were in his age group of fourteen.
There was Iggy who was the only real friend Dallas had on the ship. Then John who could be his friend but well they never really talked. Then Derek...they were just couldn't get along. It was probably because they were both such strong leaders and well there can't be two kings. Then Forrest who was just Derek's lackey. Then Stephanie a pretty red head who couldn't take her eyes off Derek if she tried. Then Avery who was pretty nice but he was Derek's cousin so there was a natural bios there. Then came Jenhi she was the only other person in the class Dallas would go and willingly talk to. Then last came Em' who was a scrawny quiet girl, she didn't fall in with either group. Dallas stepped into the class five minutes late. As he headed towards Iggy.
Everything flashed red. A voice came over the intercom saying a something had torn a hole through the top deck!
" Oh god...oh-" said Iggy, but everyone had started to pile out of the door.
