Does any one know any good homepages where I can read and learn about the scottish language/accent/slng and also Gaelic?
I've been trying some searches but haven't found anything that's really good

Don't know, but try listening to the folk/rock group Capercaille - they do some really good stuff and a lot of singing in Scots Gaelic. You could also try a group called Sileas (two women with harps). Good stuff, but not as rocking as Capercaille. Bizzarely, Karen Tweed, the lead singer of Capercaille sang the French entry in the Eurovision Song Contest a few years back. She has some solo albums out too.
