These days I suppose a lot of people are using AIM, but for those of us who still use ICQ I've updated the system a bit.
If you want other people to be able to see when you're online - go into the security and privacy permissions settings in your ICQ and click on General. You should see a box at the bottom which, if checked, allows other people to see your online status on the webb.
Check it and when you're browsing topics or viseting the members list you'll see people's status.
Tip:
Did you know that you can click a members ICQ icon (if they have one) and send them a message though the forum?
Also there is a little program called TRILLIAN. It is ICQ, AIM, MSN, Y! Messenger, and IRC all in one little package. I know that some of you already use it, but there are always a few who have never heard of this program before. So just a heads up if anyone is interested.

Warrame uses that program btw... I first heard it from her...
Ok, back on topic...
Great new icons Blue, though I'd like to say that the icons that appear on the "inbox" thingy are still the old ones...
Well, I was kind of on Track. I did mention that TRILLIAN has ICQ in it.
And I did know that WARRAME uses it.
I also love BLUE's new AVATAR. He he he purple...

kotence: I know the old icons are still there in places. I'll get around to it later.
I did the new "start here" and "news" icons at the same time as the ICQ update. I'm glad you like them.
(The "start here" icon is supposed to look like one of those message boards where messages appear from right to left by light bulbs lighting up. Like the board in Times Sq. New York or in the stock exchange.)

This is slightly off-topic... but... Well, see, I used to have ICQ (a loooong time ago, before I went online hardly at all), but I guess my mom got rid of it. Where do you go to get it?
Warrame

Umm... you get it from www.icq.com
I think.
